TiVo® service payment plans

Please note that without a subscription to the TiVo service, your TiVo DVR will not work! Please see Section 7 of the TiVo service agreement .

The following TiVo service payment plans terms and conditions (the "Payment Plan(s)") are subject to and incorporated into the TiVo service agreement (the "service agreement"). Except as otherwise set forth in, and subject to, the Service Agreement, the Payment Plans govern both your subscription to and receipt of the TiVo service and any TiVo DVR you may have received in connection with any Payment Plan. Pricing, terms, and conditions of the TiVo service are subject to change at any time.

BY SELECTING AND ACTIVATING UNDER ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PAYMENT PLANS OR PROMOTIONAL PAYMENT PLANS, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE OF LEGAL AGE TO ACCEPT TIVO INC.'S OFFER TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE TIVO SERVICE AND THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND FULLY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PAYMENT PLANS AND THE TIVO SERVICE AGREEMENT.

TiVo service payment plans: monthly or prepay

  1. At the time of activation of a Payment Plan, you will be required to commit to the TiVo service for a minimum of one (1) year. You can subscribe to the TiVo service on a monthly or prepaid basis.
  2. You may pay for the TiVo service on a monthly basis for: (a) three (3) years at $12.95 per month; (b) two (2) years at $14.95 per month; or (c) one (1) year at $16.95 per month. Promotional pricing may be available from time-to-time.
  3. If you choose to prepay for your TiVo service, you may prepay for your TiVo service for either one (1) year at $179, two (2) years at $279, or three (3) years at $299. Promotional pricing may be available from time-to-time.
  4. A 30-day money back guarantee applies to initial activations only of TiVo service. See full terms of TiVo's 30-day money back guarantee for complete details. Excludes TiVo service renewals, hardware replacements, and upgrades.
  5. AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE OF UP TO $200.00 APPLIES TO YOUR ONE (1), TWO (2), OR THREE (3) YEAR MONTHLY PAYMENT PLANS IF CANCELLED PRIOR TO THE END OF YOUR COMMITMENT, EXCEPT AS PERMITTED UNDER TIVO'S 30-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. AN EARLY TERMINATION FEE OF THE LESSER OF $200.00 OR THE AMOUNT OWED ON THE REMAINING TERM OF YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN COMMITMENT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOU.
  6. No refunds will be paid for cancellations of any prepaid Payment Plan except as permitted under TiVo's 30-day money back guarantee. No early termination fee applies to prepaid Payment Plans.
  7. After the end of your monthly or prepaid commitment period, as applicable, TiVo will continue to charge you on a monthly basis at the current rate that you are paying (excluding promotional rates), or at the then applicable-rate for one (1), two (2), or three (3) year monthly TiVo service based on whether your original commitment period was for one (1), two (2), or three (3) years, whichever is the lower rate.
  8. New monthly Payment Plans activated with either a three-month or twelve-month TiVo service gift subscription are not subject to the early termination fee. See full terms of TiVo service gift subscriptions for details.
  9. Monthly Payment Plans are eligible for the Multi-service discount. Prepaid Payment Plans are not eligible for the Multi-service discount. See full terms of the Multi-service discount for details.
  10. Combined purchases of TiVo DVR and TiVo service subscription (a "TiVo Package") cannot be combined with any other offer including any TiVo mail-in or instant rebate offers. TiVo service gift subscription, including TiVo service gift cards purchased at Best Buy, cannot be used in conjunction with any purchase or activation of a TiVo Package.
  11. For TiVo Packages ONLY, the parts portion only of your Limited Warranty for your TiVo DVR will be extended for the term of your commitment period. This provision only applies to TiVo-brand DVRs and does not apply to third party manufactured TiVo-enabled DVRs, including Humax DVD-Recorders with TiVo®.
  12. Customers are required to pay and TiVo is required to bill and collect all applicable local, state and federal taxes imposed on TiVo customers by the various taxing authorities. TiVo passes all taxes it collects on to the appropriate taxing authority.

TiVo service is required and sold separately. No functionality is represented or should be expected without a paid subscription to the TiVo service.

TiVo's privacy policy is available at www.tivo.com/privacy. TiVo service must be accessed through a standard telephone line or through a broadband connection. Offer valid only in the USA.
