Home network

A home network exists when you have one or more devices (like computers and printers) connected together in your home via a wired Ethernet network or a wireless network. Most home networks are also connected to the Internet.

Connecting your TiVo DVR to your home network (even if you don’t have a high-speed Internet connection) lets your DVR access your personal music and photo libraries on your PC or Mac; take your shows with you on your laptop, iPod, PSP, or even DVD; and transfer shows between two network-connected TiVo DVRs.

Home networkIf you have a home network, all you need to do plug an Ethernet cable into the back of your TiVo DVR, or connect the TiVo wireless adapter if you have a wireless network in your home.
