A MoCA Network Adapter is a device that "bridges" the connection between an Ethernet network and a MoCA network, so that you can access high-speed Internet in every cable-ready room in your house.

A MoCA-enabled network allows Multi-Room Streaming between two or more TiVo Premiere DVRs.

Note: If your TiVo Premiere 4 or Premiere XL4 can be connected directly to your router, you do not need a MoCA Network Adapter to create an Ethernet over Coax (MoCA) network.

Setting up a MoCA Network Adapter

Ethernet cable
Connect an Ethernet cable from your MoCA
Network Adapter to your router.

Coax cable 2
Connect a second coax cable from your
MoCA Network Adapter to your cable modem

Coax cable 1
Disconnect the coax cable from your cable modem
and reconnect it to the MoCA Network Adapter.
