How to watch Netflix on your TiVo DVR

Before you begin: Activating your TiVo DVR on your Netflix account

To start enjoying Netflix on TiVo, complete a one-time setup process to activate your TiVo DVR on your Netflix account. This quick setup allows you to connect to your Netflix instant Queue from your TiVo DVR so you can instantly watch movies & TV episodes from Netflix on your TV!

Show the steps

On your computer, sign in to your tivo.com account at tivo.com/manage.

Select "DVR preferences" on the left, and make sure your TiVo DVRs are enabled for transfers and video downloads.

On your TiVo DVR, go to TiVo Central. Then select 'Video on Demand' > 'Netflix.'

If you are a Netflix member, select "I am a Netflix member, let's get started." If you are not yet a member, select "I am interested in a Netflix FREE TRIAL."

Write down the activation code that is displayed on the next screen.

Go to www.netflix.com/acivate and enter the activation code you wrote down in the previous step. (While you're logged in to netflix.com, make sure your instant Queue is full of your favorites.)

That's it! You can now access your Netflix instant Queue on your TiVo DVR!

Watching Netflix videos on your TiVo DVR

Once your TiVo DVR is activated on your Netflix account, you can enjoy movies & TV episodes from your Netflix instant Queue on your TV!

Show the steps

From TiVo Central, select 'Video on Demand' > 'Netflix.' Your Netflix instant Queue is displayed!

Select the video you want to watch, then select "Play."

Grab some popcorn and enjoy!

Note: Only movies & TV episodes currently in your Netflix instant Queue on netflix.com will be available on your TiVo DVR. To add movies to your instant Queue, sign in to your netflix account at netflix.com.
