How to watch Netflix on your TiVo box

Before you begin: Activating your TiVo box on your Netflix account

To start enjoying Netflix on TiVo, complete a one-time setup process to activate your TiVo box on your Netflix account. This quick setup allows you to connect to your Netflix instant Queue from your TiVo box so you can instantly watch movies and TV episodes from Netflix on your TV!

Show the steps
  1. On your computer, sign into your tivo.com account at tivo.com/manage.
  2. Select "DVR preferences" on the left, and make sure your TiVo boxes are enabled for transfers and video downloads.
  3. On your TiVo box, go to TiVo Central. Then select one of the following
    • On TiVo Premiere with HD menus, select 'Find TV, movies, & videos' > 'Netflix.'See it
    • On all other TiVo boxes or on TiVo Premiere with SD menus, select 'Video On Demand' > 'Netflix.' Then select "Watch Instantly."See it
  4. If you are a Netflix member, select "I am a Netflix member, let's get started." If you are not yet a member, select "I am interested in a Netflix FREE TRIAL." See it
  5. Write down the activation code that is displayed on the next screen.
  6. Go to www.netflix.com/activate and enter the activation code you wrote down in the previous step. (While you're logged in to netflix.com, make sure your instant Queue is full of your favorites.) See it

That's it! You can now access your Netflix instant Queue on your TiVo box!

Watching Netflix videos on your TiVo box

Once your TiVo box is activated on your Netflix account, you can enjoy movies and TV episodes from your Netflix instant Queue on your TV!

Show the steps
  1. From TiVo Central, select one of the following:
    • On TiVo Premiere with HD menus, select 'Find TV, movies, & videos' > 'Netflix.' See it
    • On all other TiVo boxes or on TiVo Premiere with SD menus, select 'Video On Demand' > Netflix.' Select "Watch Instantly."See it
    Your Netflix instant Queue is displayed.
  2. Select the video you want to watch, then select "Play."
  3. Grab some popcorn and enjoy!

Note: Only movies & TV episodes currently in your Netflix instant Queue on netflix.com will be available on your TiVo box. To add movies to your instant Queue, sign in to your Netflix account at netflix.com.
