How to download movies from Jaman

When you link your TiVo service account to your Jaman account, you’re able to rent movies and have them delivered automatically to your broadband-connected TiVo DVR.

Linking your accounts

Before you begin downloading movies from Jaman, you need to link your TiVo and Jaman accounts. Here’s how:

Show the steps

On your PC, sign in to your TiVo service account at tivo.com. Click DVR Preferences on the left side, and make sure your TiVo DVRs are checked to enable video downloads.

Create your Jaman account at Jaman.com. Make note of your Jaman user name and password.

On each TiVo DVR, go to 'TiVo Central' > 'Find Programs & Downloads' > 'Download TV, Movies, & Web Video' > 'Jaman Movies & Shorts'.

Browse Jaman and find a movie you want to rent. You'll be prompted with instructions to link your Jaman and TiVo accounts as the first step of the rental process.

Remember, you will need your Jaman user name, your Jaman password, and your TiVo.com password to complete the account linking.

Once the linking process is complete, return to browsing Jaman videos.

Using your TiVo DVR to find and download videos

You can browse movies to download at Jaman.com, or using your TiVo DVR.
Here's how:

Show the steps

Go to 'TiVo Central' > 'Find Programs & Downloads' > 'Download TV, Movies, & Web Video' > 'Jaman Movies & Shorts'.

Select a category to browse available downloads.

When you find a video to download, select "Rent this movie."

You can also select “Search Jaman” to enter a title or keyword.

Note: Rented videos appear on your DVR’s Now Playing List. Videos are available for viewing within about 15 minutes of ordering. The copyright holder sets the length of time you are allowed to keep the video. The rental period begins immediately upon playback.

Note: Viewing availability may vary, depending on Internet connection and home networking speeds. Depending on your Internet connection and how much of the video has already downloaded, you may experience pauses when watching during the download.
