How to create DVDs of TV shows using your PC
Once you’ve transferred your recorded TiVo shows to your computer using TiVo Desktop software for PC, you can use Roxio Creator 2010 to create DVDs that you can play in your DVD player.
Remember: simply saving your shows to a DVD will allow you to archive your shows and play them on other PCs that have TiVo Desktop installed; however, you must use Roxio Creator to create DVDs that you can play on a DVD player.

Creating a DVD on a PC
Before you begin, make sure that you have transferred your shows to your computer using TiVo Desktop software for PC. Then, follow the steps in the video or pdf below to create your DVD:

Not all programs may be transferred using the Multi-Room Viewing or TiVoToGo features due to the use of copy protection mechanisms permitted under the FCC’s encoding rules. Some shows cannot be transferred due to the copy protection assigned them by the program provider. These shows usually are marked with a red circle-slash icon. (47 C.F.R. 76.1904)
