How to download product videos to your TiVo® DVR
Product Watch is a free service that automatically finds and downloads videos that match your interests. Just choose the category, product, or brand you’re interested in and your broadband-connected TiVo DVR will automatically download matching videos.
Find videos to download
Maybe you’re planning a trip to Disneyland, or you want to replay your favorite Super Bowl ad. Product Watch can help. Here’s how:
- Hide the steps
Go to ‘TiVo Central’ > ‘Music, Photos, Products, & More’ > ‘Product Watch.’
Select a category, or highlight “View by Brand.”
When you find a brand or product you’re interested in, select it. Then choose “Add to my download requests.”
When matching product videos are available, they'll automatically download and appear on your Now Playing List.
Set how many videos to download
Product Watch lets you set the maximum number of product videos that can be downloaded to your TiVo DVR at any time. Here's how:
- Hide the steps
From Product Watch, select 'Options' > 'Settings.'
Set the total number of videos to download.
Remember, no matter how many product videos you request, the total number of videos appearing on your Now Playing List will never exceed the setting you make here.
