How to download free music videos to your TiVo box

Download music videos by popular artists from Music Choice® using your broadband-connected TiVo box. Each week new videos are added, so you always get the hottest stars and the latest sounds.

This feature is available on:

  • TiVo HD and TiVo HD XL
  • TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL

Get the latest music videos delivered to your Now Playing or My Shows list.

It's easy to download music videos. Here's how:

Show the steps
  1. Press the TiVo button on your TiVo remote to go to TiVo Central, then do one of the following:
    • TiVo Premiere with HD menus: select 'Music & Photos' > 'Music Videos from Music Choice.'See it
    • All other TiVo boxes or TiVo Premiere with SD menus: 'Music, Photos, & Showcases' > 'Music Videos from Music Choice.'See it
  2. Browse videos by category, or search for an artist name or song title
  3. When you find a video you want to download, select it, then select ”Request this video.” Video downloads in progress are marked in the Now Playing or My Shows list by a blue circle icon. The video is playable when the download is complete.See it
  4. Downloaded videos appear with all of your other recorded programs, in your Now Playing or My Shows list. You can pause and rewind downloaded music videos just like any other recording in your Now Playing or My Shows list.See it

Music videos are subject to expiration dates set by the copyright holder. When a music video has neared its expiration, you'll see a blinking flag icon next to the title. After this point, the video may be deleted at any time.
