How to listen to audio podcasts on your TiVo box

TiVo Podcaster lets you listen to audio podcasts online using your broadband-connected TiVo box, including NPR favorites like Fresh Air, Garrison Keillor's News from Lake Wobegon, and the Car Talk Call of the Day.

This feature is available on:

  • All TiVo Premiere boxes
  • TiVo Mini

Using Podcaster

Listen to audio podcasts using your TiVo box. Here's how:

Hide the steps
  1. Press the TiVo button on your TiVo remote to go to TiVo Central, then do one of the following:
    • TiVo Premiere with HD menus: select 'Music & Photos' > 'Podcaster.'See it
    • All other TiVo boxes or TiVo Premiere with SD menus: 'Music, Photos, & Showcases' > 'Podcaster.'See it
  2. Browse available podcasts.See it
  3. Choose a podcast and press SELECT to play it.See it
  4. Can't find your favorite podcast? Select "Enter a URL" and type in the web address.See it

Note: As you're browsing available podcasts, press THUMBS UP Thumbs upon your TiVo remote to mark your favorites. Your favorite podcasts are collected under the Favorites menu.
