Internet video — custom RSS feeds
If you are looking for an Internet video podcast or channel that is not listed in one of the categories under the “Browse web videos” menu on your TiVo box*, you may be able to watch it using the new Custom RSS Feeds feature. On your TiVo box, go to TiVo Central > Video On Demand > Browse web videos > Custom RSS Feeds. The Custom RSS Feeds feature allows you to enter addresses of video podcasts published via RSS (Really Simple Syndication).
In order to use this feature, enter the URL of the podcast or channel in a format such as:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/rss/speeches.xml
If the podcast or channel you are entering has been previously entered by other users TiVo will attempt to auto-complete the URL as it is entered.
Not all video podcasts may work on your TiVo box. There are a wide variety of video publishing formats available on the Internet. Internet video podcasts and channels published via RSS are provided by their publisher or creator. TiVo does not and cannot warrant that any particular Internet video podcast or channel will work or continue to work on the DVR. For more information on how to make an RSS feed work on a TiVo box, please visit: Developer Corner.
If there is a particular RSS-based video podcast or channel you would like to see listed in the “Browse web videos” section of the Video On Demand menu on your TiVo box, please submit your request via the following form:

*Note that Internet Video Customer RSS feeds are only available on any broadband-connected TiVo HD, HD XL, Series3™, Premiere and Premiere XL. TiVo does not control the video content quality.
