TiVo Service Updates (October 2012)
One of the benefits to being a TiVo Service subscriber is the ongoing improvements and enhancements to the TiVo experience. The latest automated update to the TiVo Premiere software includes many new and exciting features you’re sure to notice. Here are some key highlights:
HD Season Pass Manager
We’ve updated the Season Pass Manager screen, and added some new features. A Season Pass that doesn't have episodes scheduled to record appear in gray, and when a Season Pass is highlighted, information on the right side of the screen tells you if there are conflicts that will prevent some episodes from recording. You can also be re-order by entering numbers using the buttons on the remote control.

History in HD
To get to History, go to TiVo Central > Manage Recordings & Downloads > History. The three views of the History screen (which can be seen by pressing the red C button on the remote) are: “all,” “conflicts” (only shows that weren’t recorded because all of the tuners were busy at that time), and “deleted.”

HD To Do List
The updated To Do List has four different views (which can be seen by pressing the red C button on the remote): “will record & conflicts” (includes all shows that will record in the next two weeks AND any shows that won’t record because all of the tuners are busy recording other shows at that time (indicated by a red X), “conflicts,” “will record,” and “all.”

Record from Discovery Bar
Like its name suggests, the Discovery Bar is a great place to uncover new shows and movies that you may have missed. Now these recommendations are not only refreshed more frequently, you can record a highlighted show that catches your eye in just one click. Just one more way we make your life a little easier.

Parental Controls deliver peace of mind for Mom and Dad
Parental controls is replacing the KidZone feature on your TiVo DVR, but you can still set your parental controls in advance. Just go to TiVo Central > Settings > Parental Controls
