Connect your TiVo Premiere to your TV
- We recommend using the included HDMI cable for an

  connect to your TV
Connect your TiVo Premiere to your Cable TV Source
- Plug your cable company's coax cable into the back of your TiVo Premiere
- Plug the CableCARD^™ decoder supplied by your cable company into the
  back of your TiVo Premiere
Connect your TiVo Premiere to the Internet
- Simply plug in to your existing broadband connection
- Connect with an Ethernet cable or wireless adapter
- For TiVo Premiere Elite, connect with an Ethernet cable,
  wireless adapter, or MoCA connection
Plug in and power up your TiVo Premiere

Common questions

Do I keep my cable service?

Typically, yes. TiVo Premiere is designed to work perfectly with your cable service. While cable service is optional, it is required to view cable programming.

Some TiVo customers with Premiere or Premiere XL get rid of their cable service and receive HD TV signals with a digital antenna. Please note: Using a digital antenna does not work for Premiere Elite. Learn more

Can I get a professional installer?

Yes. TiVo has a list of professional installers in most U.S. states that can set up your TiVo Premiere.

What is a CableCARD™ decoder, and do I need one?

Yes, you need a CableCARD decoder to decode your cable channels. A CableCARD decoder is what replaces your cable box. The card is supplied by your cable company and plugs directly into the back of your TiVo Premiere.

Can I use an antenna with my TiVo Premiere?

TiVo Premiere and Premiere XL both have a dedicated input for an antenna that will allow you to receive free SD and HD signals over the air. TiVo Premiere Elite does not support antenna (ATSC). Learn more
