How do I enable SAP?

14-33-01Search Reference Number

Many programs include a Secondary Audio Program (SAP), which is an alternative audio trach such as Descriptive Video Services (DVS) for the visually impaired or a foreign language track.

Note:SAP tracks conform to a different broadcast standard than the multiple language tracks that are included with some programs. See How Do I Choose My Preferred Audio Language? to choose your preferred anguage for audio tracks.

To enable Secondary Audio Programming:

Step one:From TiVo Central, select Messages & Settings, then Settings, then Audio, and then Television Audio.

Step 2Highlight Secondary Audio Program (SAP), if available, and press SELECT.

- If a program does not include an audio track in the selected language, the DVR will record the default audio track (which may be the only audio track) for the broadcast.

- This change will only affect future recordings and live TV. It does not have any effect on previously-recorded programs.
