How do I restart or powercycle the DVR?

To restart the DVR:

 

1.  From TiVo Central, select Messages & Settings, then Restart or Reset System, and then Restart the TiVo DVR.

2.  Press THUMBS DOWN  three times and then press ENTER.

If you cannot restart the DVR from the TiVo menus:

 
1.  Remove the power cord from the back of the DVR.


2.  If you are using a phone connection, remove the phone cord.


3.  Wait 15 seconds and then reinsert the power cord.


4.  Reinsert the phone cord, if present.
