| | Where is the Rhapsody service available? Currently, the Rhapsody service is only available in the fifty United States and Washington D.C., excluding all U.S. bases.
Rhapsody is not available Puerto Rico, Guam or any other U.S. territory.
Rhapsody is not available in Canada or any other country outside the U.S.

| | What do I need for Rhapsody on TiVo?
You must have a Series2, Series3, or TiVo HD DVR connected to your home network and running software version 9.1 or higher. To check your software version, go to TiVo Central > Messages & Settings > Account & System Information > System Information. |

| | What do I get with the free 30-day trial available on my TiVo DVR?
With the 30-day trial, you get access to the entire Rhapsody catalog and full functionality of the Rhapsody on TiVo application, so you can build a library of song titles that you like and play them whenever you want within that 30 days.

| | Will accepting the 30-day free trial automatically charge my credit card?
No. Instead, the trial will simply expire after 30 days and you won't be able to launch Rhapsody.

| | How do I upgrade to a paid subscription for Rhapsody?
Go to http://www.rhapsody.com/tivo/subscribe to upgrade your 30-day trial to a paid account. When you do so, you'll be able to specify your own user ID and password.
After you have created your account on Rhapsody's web site, launch the Rhapsody application again on your TiVo DVR and go to Options > View Account Options. Then select Switch Account and enter the user ID and the password that you have just created. The library you created on your TiVo DVR will be merged in with your new account, so you won't lose any of the music that you already saved.
TIP: If you ever decide to sell your TiVo, you should change the password on the Rhapsody account before you do so. This will prevent the new owner from being able to use your Rhapsody account.

| | What is the Play Queue in Rhapsody on TiVo? How does it differ from a play list?
The play queue is the list of songs that are going to be played during your current Rhapsody session. The difference between a play queue and a play list is that the play queue empties each time you quit Rhapsody. A play list is a list of song titles that you've saved in the order you want them played.
You can save your current play queue as a play list so that can play is again later. From the play queue screen, press red RECORD button on your remote. The next time you start Rhapsody, go to My Library > View My Saved Playlists, and your play list will be there, titled with the date you save it.

| | Can I rename a saved play list?
At this time, you cannot rename a play list that you've saved on your TiVo DVR. However, if you upgrade to a paid Rhapsody account, you'll be able to rename them using the Rhapsody PC application.

| | What is My Library?
My Library is a place to store your favorite song titles -- music you want to access quickly. You can search or browse through the Rhapsody music catalog. When you find music that you like, choose Save to My Library. You can save either a single track or an entire album to the library at once. You can also use My Library for quick access to channels that you like or for quick access to play lists.

| | Do Rhapsody songs in My Library take up space on my TiVo DVR?
No. Your library is not stored on your the TiVo hard disk. Your library is stored on Rhapsody servers and accessed by your TiVo DVR using the Internet. So, save as many songs as you like--you'll still have as much room as before on your DVR for all of your favorite shows.

From the View My Tracks screen in My Library, press the ENTER remote control key to bring up the library sorting options.

Yes, with a paid subscription, you'll be able to access the same library of songs from any form of Rhapsody -- Rhapsody on the PC, Rhapsody on the web, and Rhapsody on TiVo. So you can use your PC to quickly find music you like, save it to your library, and access that same library from your TiVo.

| | Can I access songs stored on my computer through Rhapsody on TiVo?
At this time, Rhapsody cannot access songs stored on your computer. Use the TiVo Desktop Music application to publish your computer's music to your TiVo.

Channels are similar to radio stations. Channels give you a continuous stream of music from a particular genre.

| | Can Rhapsody recommend music to me?
Yes, Rhapsody recommends music to you based on what you've played and how you've rated what you played. You can rate music using the THUMBS UP and THUMBS DOWN remote control keys. If you want to see what Rhapsocy recommends for you, go to My Rhapsody > View Albums For You.

* If the Rhapsody application is no longer visible in the Music, Photos, Products, & More menu, and you have verified that your DVR is connected to your home network, contact TiVo Customer Support.
