TiVo Desktop 2.6.1 for Windows can be downloaded at tivo.com/desktop.

TiVo Desktop 2.6.1 for Windows delivers broadband connected TiVo DVR customers the following features:

• Automatic delivery of web videos from RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds using Web Season Passes
• Automatic delivery of videos placed in published video folders on your PC
  

To set up a Web Season Pass or single web download, select Download TV, Movies, & Web Videos from the Find Programs & Downloads menu. Choose Browse Other Videos from the column on the left side of the window, then select a category that interests you. Within each category, programs marked with the TiVo Desktop Plus icon indicate that the programs can be downloaded to the DVR with TiVo Desktop Plus. You can choose individual episode downloads or get a Season Pass for the current and future episodes.

You can now publish video folders in the same manner that you publish music and photos folders. Published video folders are managed like watched folders. You can set published video folders to automatically transcode and transfer new video files to any or all DVRs on your TiVo account. Published video folders have a "Keep at Most" value, similar to TiVo Season Passes, that can be set from 1 to 10 episodes. 

Web Season Passes, single web video downloads, and published video folders require TiVo Desktop Plus. When TiVo Desktop 2.6.1 is launched for the first time, you are asked to link your PC to your TiVo MMA account. Once your PC is linked to your MMA account, you will be able to use TiVo Desktop Plus to send web video to any DVR on your account.

WARNING: Videos that are protected with Digital Rights Management (DRM) can not be transferred.

NOTE: Web Video content will appear in the same quality as the original downloaded content. The DVR will not improve the video quality of downloaded content
