| | Registering for Manage My Account Logging In to Manage My Account
You can use Manage My Account to: |
| | - Activate or Upgrade TiVo Service: Activate or upgrade service on a TiVo DVR.
- DVR Preferences: Name your DVRs and set their sharing preferences. (The changes take effect the next time your DVR connects to the TiVo Service.)
- Change credit card: Change the credit card that your TiVo service is being billed to.
- View billing history: View the billing history for your account.
- Change service number: Change the TiVo service number of your DVR. (This is only done in rare situations, such as when you exchange your DVR at a retail store.)
- Change contact info: Update your address and phone number.
- Change login info: Change your password and e-mail address.

| | If you have not yet activated your TiVo service, go to Activating My TiVo Service.

| | Go to www.tivo.com/manage.
|

| | Click the Register button on the left area of the screen.
|
| | |
| | Enter the e-mail address you used to activate TiVo service and click Submit. You will be sent a temporary password to this email address.

| | Copy and paste this temporary password into the Manage My Account login screen; be sure you do not copy a space before or after the password.

| | Enter a new permanent password in the New Password and Re-enter New Password fields and click Sign In.

| | Go to www.tivo.com/manage.

| | Enter the e-mail address you used when you activated TiVo service.

| | Enter the password you created when you registered for Manage My Account and click Sign In.
