| | The TiVo Wireless G Adapter is the only 802.11g wireless adapter that is compatible with all TiVo Series2, Series2 DT, Series3, and TiVo HD DVRs. It is also the only wireless network adapter for TiVo DVRs that supports both WEP and WPA wireless network security protocols.
All other wireless network adapters on this page are compatible with all TiVo Series2 and Series2 DT DVRs, except for DVRs with a 15-digit TiVo service number, beginning with 110, 130, or 140. If the 15-digit TiVo service number on your DVR begins with 110, 130, or 140, view All Wireless Network Adapters.
If you are trying to use an adapter that is not listed here, there is the possibility that it may appear to work with some of our networking features. Unfortunately, you are likely to experience issues or failures in other areas. For that reason, any adapter not listed here as compatible is considered to be unsupported if you are experiencing a problem.

Software version 8.1 or later is required to use WPA encryption.
In order to use a peer-to-peer wireless network with 802.11g adapters, you must be running the latest version of TiVo software. Only WEP encryption is supported for peer-to-peer connections, even with TiVo Wireless G adapters. To find the latest version of TiVo software click here.
