How do I connect to the TiVo Service?

Your TiVo DVR automatically connects to the TiVo service every 24 to 48 hours. If for some reason the connection does not succeed, the DVR will try again within 24 hours.

 

To initiate the connection to the TiVo service manually:

 

From TiVo Central, select Messages & Settings; then Settings; then Phone and Network; then Connect to the TiVo Service Now. Press SELECT to start the connection.

 

Note:After any successful connection (whether manual or automatic), the DVR will automatically attempt another connection within the next 48 hours.
