I Receive a 'TiVo Tour' Screen rather than Guided Setup Screens

To receive the Guided Setup screen, perform the following steps:

 

Step one:Powercycle your TiVo Digital Video Recorder (DVR) by removing the power cord from the back of the DVR and plugging it back in.

 
 

Step two:When you see the Stay in Demo Mode? screen, highlight No, go to the customer Welcome Screen and press SELECT.

 
 

Step three:Complete Guided Setup. For information on completing Guided Setup on a Series2 DVR, go to Running Guided Setup. If you have a Series3 HD DVR, go to Running Guided Setup (Series3 HD DVRs).
