TiVo Series2 and all later TiVo DVR models support Dolby Surround/Pro Logic sound.

Series3 HD and TiVo HD DVRs, which output digital audio through the Digital Audio and HDMI ports, also support Dolby Digital 5.1. To choose Dolby Digital output on these DVRs, go to TiVo Central and select Messages & Settings, then Settings, then Audio, and then Dolby Digital. Follow the instructions on the screen.
