NOTE: To publish video from the internet to the DVR using TiVo Desktop, see Transferring Video from a PC to a TiVo DVR.
You can use TiVo Desktop to publish music and photos to your TiVo DVR. This process allows you to specify which music and photo files will be available for playing/viewing on your DVR. The files are always stored on your PC or Macintosh, so you will still have the same amount of space to record programs on your DVR.
NOTE: The PC must be turned on and connected to your home network. If you are using a laptop, make sure it does not go into sleep or hibernate mode while you are trying to view photos or listen to music published from TiVo Desktop. | ||
