How Do I Set Up My Single Tuner DVR?

These setup instructions are for a TiVo single tuner Series2 (or earlier) DVR. If you have a Series2 DT (dual tuner) DVR, see How Do I Set Up My Dual Tuner DVR?

The options listed are intended to serve as examples of commonly used configurations for hooking up the TiVo DVR. The specific requirements for your television and other equipment may vary. Review each hardware description below, and select the setup option that best describes your system.
NOTE: If you have a DVD Recorder, simply substitute it for the VCR in the hookups below. If you have a DVD Player, hook it up to a different input on your TV.
