What do I do if my Guided Setup calls fail?

If the Guided Setup call fails, perform one or more of the following troubleshooting tips:

 

Step two:If you receive an error message after one of the phone calls in Guided Setup, follow the on-screen troubleshooting to resolve your issues. If you continue to have issues, choose Change phone settings before trying again and then change the settings as necessary.

 
 

Step two: Try each of the following until the phone call is successful:

 
 
  • If you need a Dial Prefix, enter the prefix

  • If you have a Call Waiting Prefix, take out the prefix you entered

  • Set Tone/Pulse to the appropriate setting

  • Set Phone Avail. Detection to off

  • Set Dial Tone Detection to off
