Delivering a little bit of home to our service men and women serving away from home.

Saying thanks with entertainment.

Everyone at TiVo appreciates the hard work and sacrifice of our military servicemen and women. In that spirit of gratitude, TiVo’s Operation Home Screen will enable U.S. service people to enjoy a taste of home while thousands of miles away. By leveraging TiVo Anywhere technology, we’ll provide some of these brave men and women a reprieve from the duties with their favorite shows, sports teams and stateside local news—from wherever they happen to be deployed.

How Operation Home Screen works.

In its first phase, the Operation Home Screen initiative will give 50 servicemen and servicewomen the opportunity to
enjoy their local TV programming on a portable device, just as if they are sitting in the comfort of their own homes.
By leveraging the streaming capability of a new TiVo Roamio™ Plus DVR—provided at no charge to their families at
Camp Pendleton in San Diego—they will be able to stream live or recorded programming into faraway non-combat
zones via tablets and smartphones the servicemen and women may already have.

As part of the program, each participant will receive:
  • A TiVo Roamio Plus DVR for their stateside home with Product Lifetime service.
  • The free TiVo app for their iOS device
  • Free technical setup support through TiVo customer service
