American co-pilot Tobias prepares for a typical Berlin-to-Paris flight of their budget airline. But when the plane is in the air, a group of terrorists tries to hijack the plane. They try to gain access to the cockpit, but Tobias is able to shut the door as their main pilot gets badly hurt in the process. The terrorists communicate with him via a security camera as they threaten to do harm if their demands are not followed. Among their would-be victims is Tobias's girlfriend.
