Boys State

This documentary follows a thousand teenage boys as they attend AL Boys State in Texas, an annual summer leadership and citizenship program which requires them to simulate the political processes of actual state legislature. Teenagers from various political and economic backgrounds learn the ropes of political party mechanics, the art of consensus-building, and the competitive campaign for the most prestigious position at Boys State: the governorship.
