Service Plan Terms and Conditions

Any TiVo Unified Entertainment System or TiVo DVR requires a TiVo service subscription, and we currently offer several options:

For any new models (or models previously activated for 30 or fewer days) of the TiVo BOLT, TiVo BOLT VOX or the TiVo Roamio (other than a TiVo Roamio OTA 1 TB), you may select any of the following service subscriptions:

• A monthly service plan, at the current rate of $14.99/month (plus any applicable taxes), with a one (1)-year commitment and a $75 early termination fee1; or

• An annual service plan, at the then-published rate (currently $149.99/year, plus any applicable taxes)2;

• An All-In plan, for a one (1)-time payment at the current rate of $549.99 (plus any applicable taxes).3

For any model TiVo BOLT, TiVo BOLT VOX or TiVo Roamio (other than a TiVo Roamio OTA 1 TB) previously activated for over 30 days, you may select any of the following service subscriptions:

• A monthly service plan, at the current rate of $14.99/month (plus any applicable taxes), with no commitment; or

• An annual service plan, at the then-published rate (currently $149.99/year, plus any applicable taxes)2; or

• An All-In plan, for a one (1)-time payment at the current rate of $549.99 (plus any applicable taxes).3

New or previously activated TiVo Roamio OTA 1 TB have an All-In plan3 included with your box purchase.

For previously activated TiVo Premiere DVRs, you may select either service subscription:

• A monthly service plan, at the current rate of $14.99/month (plus any applicable taxes), with no commitment; or

• An All-In plan, for a one (1)-time payment at the current rate of $549.99 (plus any applicable taxes).3

For previously activated TiVo DVR models other than a TiVo BOLT, TiVo BOLT VOX, TiVo Roamio or TiVo Premiere, you may select either service subscription:

• A monthly service plan, at the current rate of $12.95/month (plus any applicable taxes), with no commitment; or

• An All-In plan, for a one (1)-time payment at the current rate of $549.99 (plus any applicable taxes).3

Additional Terms and Restrictions

TiVo Service Subscriptions:

• No-commitment monthly service is available with the purchase of a new full-priced TiVo device directly from TiVo (call TiVo Customer Service, at 877-289-8486, for more information). No-commitment monthly service is available with the purchase of a previously activated TiVo device from a third party.

• With respect solely to any TiVo BOLT, TiVo BOLT VOX or TiVo Roamio DVR which is eligible for, and on which you have obtained, either an annual service plan or a monthly service plan (but not an All-In plan): your service plan includes, at no additional charge, an enhanced limited warranty (known as "Continual Care") for the full, uninterrupted duration of your annual or monthly TiVo service subscription. With Continual Care, and for a cost of $49.00 (plus shipping and any applicable taxes) after ninety (90) days from your purchase date, you can exchange a defective or inoperative TiVo BOLT, TiVo BOLT VOX or TiVo Roamio DVR for a repaired, renewed or comparable product (at TiVo's discretion). The exchange exclusions and restrictions contained in the TiVo DVR Limited Warranty continue to apply; please visit Limited Warranty Info for details.

• Under certain TiVo offers or promotions, not all service plan options may be available (e.g., a monthly plan; an annual service plan; an All-In plan). Call TiVo Customer Service (at 877-367-8486) for details on any such current promotional offers.

• All features, functionality and offers are subject to change or withdrawal at any time without notice. • TiVo devices do not work with satellite. The TiVo Premiere 4/XL4/Elite DVRs and the TiVo Roamio Pro/Plus DVRs are intended for use with digital cable systems only and do not work with external cable boxes, analog cable, or over-the-air antennas. The TiVo BOLT does not work with external cable boxes or analog cable.

    Every new TiVo BOLT OTA includes a manufacturer’s limited warranty that offers 90 days of coverage for parts & labor and parts coverage for one year starting from the purchase date. See TiVo DVR Limited Warranty for full details.
    In addition, if your BOLT OTA is subscribed, from the date of purchase, to a monthly or annual TiVo service plan it is also covered with TiVo’s Continual Care, which will replace a non-working, out-of-warranty BOLT OTA for just $49.99 (plus shipping and any applicable taxes) as long as you maintain continuous, active TiVo service.*

  • How does TiVo’s money-back guarantee work?

    You bet! The TiVo BOLT OTA DVR works with any HD digital antenna.

  • What type of signal sources is my TiVo BOLT OTA DVR compatible with?

    TiVo BOLT OTA receives signals from a digital HD antenna. It is not compatible with cable, Google Fiber, Verizon FiOS, AT&T U-Verse or satellite systems

  • How many TV stations will I be able to watch with my BOLT OTA and HD antenna?

    Quantity and quality of TV stations will depend on a number of things including type of antenna, distance to broadcast towers, the terrain, and the surroundings (nearby houses, buildings, trees, etc.). For an approximate idea on what stations will be available to you, click here

  • If I use TiVo BOLT OTA with an antenna, do the stations I receive cost me anything?

    No, they’re absolutely free. Here’s how it works. BOLT OTA has four ATSC tuners that allow it to record up to four channels at once from digital over-the-air broadcasts in full HD clarity.(FN1) ATSC broadcasts are complete free and are accessible by uing any HD antenna, which are available for purchase at retail stores. FN1 – HD recording requires original broadcast to be in HD.

  • How much can I record with my TiVo BOLT OTA?

    Lots. You can record up to four shows at once. The TiVo BOLT OTA ‘s 1 TB of recording capacity allows you to record up to 150 hours of HD programming – plenty of room for those must-see shows.

  • I want to use my current TiVo Mini with a TiVo BOLT VOX or BOLT OTA. Can I do that?

    Yes! Your TiVo Mini can connect to a TiVo BOLT OTA as a host. Because your Mini must use the same software version as its host, you’ll be prompted to upgrade your Mini to the New TiVo Experience the first time you connect it to a BOLT OTA host. If you later connect to a TiVo DVR that is not running the New TiVo Experience, your Mini may prompt you to downgrade in order to access the TiVo DVR running an older

  • What is SkipMode®? Does it come with TiVo BOLT OTA? And how does it help me avoid commercials?

    Any recorded show enabled with the SkipMode feature will display a SKIP icon next to the episode title in My Shows. When a commercial break starts, just press the blue VOICE button and tell TiVo to “Skip it” or hit the green SKIP button on your remote, and you'll be on the other side of those commercials in the blink of an eye. If you hit the button during a program, you'll skip past your show and through the next commercial break, which is great for bypassing the dull parts you don't want to see. Although not all shows are available with the SkipMode feature, we've taken great pains to enable SkipMode on many of the most popular channels. For more information, see channel details.
