Wild Beauty: Mustang Spirit of the West

This documentary, made over the course of several years, explores the plight of wild horses in the American Southwest. The focus is on the Federal laws designed to protect the animals and doesn't shy away from the fact that it is the U.S. government breaking its own laws that puts them in jeopardy. Helicopter-led roundups and the conversion of their native grazing land to cattle country are just two of the dangers covered.
