When a zombie-like virus engulfs the world, humanity is plunged into apocalyptic conditions. Amidst the unsettling and, at times, sinister events of her new reality, a young woman finds unexpected kinship with a hardened former mercenary. Determined to protect the young woman no matter the cost, the mercenary agrees to deliver her to a place of safety before they fall victim to the wasteland that surrounds them.
