Youth (Spring)

On the outskirts of Shanghai, China's wealthiest city, lies Liming, a working-class district comprised of almost exclusively seventeen to twenty-year-olds in search of new opportunities and a means to earn a living. Almost all of Liming's citizens hail from rural Yunnan, who leave the countryside behind to share cramped dormitories and endure inhospitable working conditions, all in pursuit of something greater, which many may never achieve.
