Totem

This Mexican family drama follows the story of Sol, the seven-year-old daughter of Tona, as she finds herself in a busy household preparing for a surprise birthday celebration for Tona. Sol observes that her relatives are hard at work in helping her mother, but there is a mix of happiness and sadness as the event draws near. Later, Sol discovers why – that this birthday might be her father's last.
