Before I Change My Mind

This Canadian coming-of-age comedy-drama follows the story of Robin, an androgynous newcomer whose gender identity is a mystery. Set in 1987 when the non-binary identity still hasn't garnered currency yet, Robin transfers to Edmonton in Alberta and refuses to be categorized in any gendered school activity. This androgyny confuses the students and even leads to bullying until Robin befriends a bully named Carter.
