Sing Me A Song

The documentary Sing Me A Song follows the story of a teenage monk named Peyangki and how the internet's entrance to Bhutan affected his everyday life and ways. From someone who is unsure of what electricity will bring to his community, Peyangki has grown up to be a teen dependent on his smartphone. Via the app called WeChat, he is even able to forge a relationship with Ugyen, a barroom singer in Thimpu who sings love songs to him over the phone.
